Citrus Health Network is bringing back its Behavioral Health Advisory Council that will provide meaningful feedback to our Board of Directors and our staff about behavioral health policies, procedures and services with a focus on promoting recovery and empowerment.
Behavioral Health Advisory Council members may include the following and should live in Miami-Dade or Monroe Counties:
Consumers living with behavioral health conditions
Persons in recovery
Family members of individuals with psychiatric disabilities
Representatives from community stakeholders such as local homeless coalitions, local law enforcement agencies, jail personnel, county commissioners, other providers, hospital representatives, Medicaid, faith-based entities and advocacy groups
The Behavioral Health Advisory Council will meet on a quarterly basis providing in-person and Zoom options to participate.
