Citrus Health Network’s newest location opened on January 13, 2020 in collaboration with the Florida International University Embrace Program.
The Medical Center promotes health, wellness and overall functioning for adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities (ID), and other neurodevelopmental disorders (OND).
The Medical Center offers services as part of a comprehensive, integrated care model. Services at the location include primary care, psychiatry, psychotherapy, and laboratory tests.
FIU Embrace is a university-wide initiative that utilizes a person-focused, household-centric approach which seeks to help persons with ASD, ID, and OND lead healthy lives and maximize their individual potential.
The Medical Center is located across from the FIU Modesto A. Maidique Campus.
